1st Annual Women Brunch

Updated: Dec 1, 2021

Pretty Positivity Group for Girls (PPGG) present the very first event and women brunch from November 27th 2021.

Janae Harrison, President and Founder of PPGG, age 20 has expressed great joy and satisfaction with the turnout. "It rewarding to see something that you've developed on paper for months come to life right before your eye. It's emotional and extremely motivating."

"I think one of the best feeling is to see the mind wheels turning in some heads. That let's me know I am impacting in some kind of way", Janae continues.

The idea to start PPGG came from a long list of adversities Janae faced earlier this year. In January, she lost her Grandmother and almost lost her own life the following Friday in a rollover accident. Months later, Janae found out that she had a lung mass in her chest that may be cancer after she was sprayed with a fire extinguisher. She aims to dedicate her life to making impactful experiences to women all around from all different ages and backgrounds.

When I leave this world, I want to leave a footprint. If I help 1 person I would be satisfied, but I'm driven to help many.

Janis, speaker and owner of Pretty Isn't Enough, shared insightful moments of her life on how she got started with her business, how to maintain confidence and how it's okay to ask questions in life. Staying connected for 2 years, Janae meet Janis at an event Janis threw in 2019. Janae says that event was a "life changing and memorable moment" and encouraged her to want to "do something in ministry". The two shared some very kind and thoughtful comments on Instagram. Janis continues to thrive in her business. She decorated the brunch and did a phenomenal job. You can check out her Instagram pages @theprettypartyfavor @prettyisntenough @praisingmylipstick

Angie, speaker and owner of I Wear For U, shared an amazing testimony. She suffered from a stroke due to stress at work and was in the hospital for months. She planned on using her current job to fund her clothing business, and unfortunately she ended up losing her job while she was in therapy. Her business is now her main source of income and is striving. She also shared a power scripture to end the event. John 3:1-2, "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears[a] we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is".

Pretty Positivity Group for Girls is intending to host their next event January 9th where attendees will be able to learn how to market themselves and their businesses.
